Came across this feathered shuttlecock lightshade on my continuing quest to find a funky light for the kitchen. I think a cluster of them might look pretty cool – but I’m rubbish at badminton (as far as I remember) so the appeal ends there for me. The search continues…

P.S. Trying to be very grown-up here and not snigger over the word ‘shuttlecock’… Not really working!

What a great light! My husband is a keen badminton-er (if that is a word!) so would be most appropriate if we hadn’t inherited a flat full of recessed halogen spots. How I long for pendant lights and interesting lampshades 🙂

It is a word now Meg. Poor you on the recessed halogen spots… good excuse to buy nice table and floor lamps though!

Very admirable of you to do the Marathon. I think the Jacko idea is ace, but not as ace as that T shirt! Where is it from? xH

Thanks Heather. Think the friends I’m going it with aren’t that keen on the Jacko idea. Will have to bully them into it! (Sorry guys if you’re reading this!) The tee is from http://www.lazyoaf.co.uk/
