Things I Like

I’m not a designer. Or even an interior designer. I’m just someone who likes pretty, practial things.

I like colour and fun. Junk furniture and bargain buys. I like what I think is cool, not what I’ve been told is.

I like tea and tofu. (Sometimes at the same time.)

I like graphic novels, sad music and happy films.

I like chatting, baking and painting – out of all those, I’m best at chatting!

I like flirty dresses, coloured dolly shoes and snuggly cardis.

I like tin globes, art deco mirrors and cosy blankets.

I like interior design but I mainly like making it up as I go along.

I like dancing in my kitchen and singing at my cats.

I like sugar mice, sugar letters and chocolate buttons.

I like sushi and dim sum. But I also like eggy bread and veggie sausage rolls!

I like laughing until my sides hurt. I like hugs with my fiance. I like cat naps with my kitties.

I like reading blogs and discovering new things.

I like when nice people say hello.

I like saying hello to nice people.

    Hi Zoe,

Loving your blog. I’m just starting out and my one isn’t nearly as stylish or lovely to look at.

As a fellow Edinburgher I wanted some hot tips on where you do most of your raking for vintage items, preferably on the cheaper side of thrifty. Oh and places that don’t mind being poked and prodded by a toddler would also be a bonus!
